New Brunswick Recreation is pleased to offer a variety of programs for its residents and visitors in the City of New Brunswick, New Jersey. The New Brunswick Recreation community has many wonderful partners and sponsors to thank for supporting our recreation and leisure services.

HUB Teen Center.  The Teen Center is open to teens ages 13-19 that attend a school in the New Brunswick school district. To those teens we are open from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturdays and closed Sundays.

This state-of-the-art facility consists of an indoor soccer arena, billiard tables, arcade games, basketball hoops, a movie theater, a computer lab, foosball tables, ping-pong tables, air hockey tables, a concession stand, and multiple televisions around the center. All teens ages 13-19 are permitted to use the Fitness Center for free as long as they are a member of the Recreation Center

Tutoring is available at the Recreation Center during the school year for any student who needs academic assistance. During the summer we run a “Summer Fun” program, consisting of daily trips to various places.

All teens must register with the Recreation Center to utilize our facility. Registration is free. For an application, please visit the Recreation Center at 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave. A parent’s signature, birth certificate (or New Brunswick High School ID), and a report card/progress report are required to complete an application form.
