Body Image: Pushing Back Against the 'Beach Body' Mentality

Summer is an exciting time of year, but the pressure to have the “perfect” beach body can often feel overwhelming and challenging.

The truth is, everybody is unique and beautiful in their own way. The “beach body” idea can sometimes make us forget that what truly matters, how we feel inside and how we care for ourselves. Ignoring this can take a toll on our mental health, often in ways we don’t expect.

To address this important issue, we invite you to our upcoming webinar, "Body Image: Pushing Back against the “Beach Body” Mentality."

Join Sharon Ryan (ED Clinical Coordinator) and Kayla Ray (Adult/ED Program Director) as they explore how seasonal pressures around body image can impact self-esteem, mental health, and eating behaviors.

Webinar Details:
Date: 24th June 2025
Time: 1pm EST to 2pm EST

Virtual (Zoom link provided upon registration)

The webinar is free, but registration is required. Please feel free to attend and invite people who you feel might benefit from this important conversation.
