The NJ Connect for Recovery Call Line was established to support two distinct groups across the state of New Jersey: those concerned with their own opiate use; and, those who are experiencing distress related to the opiate use of a friend or family member. Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally-funded program that helps low-income households with their home energy bills. LIHEAP can help you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. By doing so, you can reduce the risk of health and safety problems (such as illness, fire, or eviction).
USF helps make energy bills more affordable for low income customers. If you are eligible, USF can lower the amount you have to pay for natural gas and electricity.

WAP assists elderly, handicapped and low-income persons in weatherizing their homes, improving their heating system efficiency and conserving energy.

Award Period: October 1 to September 30; July 1 to June 30.
The TIP Program is a home visitation program that offers in home parenting support to expectant and new parents receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help improve their parenting skills. TIP creates a training plan that best suits each parent's situation, providing them with guidance on good nutrition, available medical and child care services, resume writing, job interview skills and more.
