Men's Anger Management Group

Men's Anger Management Group

In a non-judgemental and compassionate space, we help you understand your anger. You have every right to be angry. Anger is a valid, necessary human emotion – it’s a natural response to situations that hurt us and are scary. The problem is that your nervous system has been wired for protection in certain circumstances. Angry parts of you have developed to protect you. When these are triggered, your anger can sometimes become uncontrollable and excessive, and dangerous. They cause damage. Damage to you, to your personal relationships and/ or professional relationships.

Anger can be moved through in counseling. You can understand where your anger comes from, when its triggered, and what you need to do different. You can save your relationships.

Signs that you could benefit from anger management therapy.

  • Do you get angry even when you don’t want to?
  • Does it happen quickly, and too often?
  • Does your partner and family describe you as having a ‘temper’, or a ‘short fuse’?
  • Does your partner say you are too angry with the children? Do you often hear – “calm down”.
